International

Killington welcomes international employees for our seasonal winter positions. People from all over the world including Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Peru, Bulgaria, Jamaica, South Africa and others have enjoyed their experience and gained valuable work place skills here at Killington. We believe our international staff contributes to our resort culture and to our community.

If you are interested in joining our team next winter, please read the details below. We look forward to meeting you!

International applicants must obtain one of the following two visa types:

J-1 VISA

An in-person interview is required before any job offer can be made. In the past we have been able to offer employment to some J-1 visa holders that arrive to our resort with a valid US social security number and attend a personal interview with one of our hiring managers. In other words, we are unable to offer you a position over the phone or by mail. Because of the tremendous number of J-1 applications we receive, we cannot respond individually to each person. Please be aware that as of November, our hiring for this winter season is nearly complete and we will not be able to offer everyone a job.

Killington does not sponsor the J-1 Visa. This must be arranged through a work and travel program.

H2-B VISA

People with H2-B visas who are currently working in the US may be considered. Please contact Maegan Dillman at mdillman@killington.com for more information.

Housing

Killington does not provide employee housing. Some good sources for local housing information are the local newspapers - "The Rutland Herald" in Rutland www.rutlandherald.com and "The Mountain Times" in Killington www.mountaintimes.info. Local real estate agencies may also have information about seasonal rentals as well.
