Banquet servers

Needed at the Killington Grand Hotel and Conference Center. Must have excellent communication skills and ability to take directions. Flexible availability a must. Part-time on call. Needed for events in Sept-Oct.

Bartender

Needed at Ovations Restaurant to prepare and serve alcoholic beverages and serve food. Good knowledge of state liquor regulations required. Must have excellent customer service skills, and be able to multi-task in a fast paced atmosphere. Must have flexible scheduling, including weekends. Part-time seasonal.

Dishwasher

Needed for the Killington Grand Hotel. Clean, sort & put away pots and other kitchen items. Must be reliable, and have a flexible schedule. Full-time seasonal.

Line Cook III

Needed at the Killington Grand Hotel. Prepare and produce a wide variety of menu items. Perform a variety of complex cooking tasks, meal service and proper plating of all meals. Individual must be experienced in ala a carte and buffet/banquet production skills. Two years of related experience, a sound knowledge of basic sanitation practices, a commitment to high quality culinary production standards and high quality guest service standards are required. Training in a culinary arts school, preferred. Full-time seasonal.

Information Technology

AV/PC SPECIALIST

Installs, configures, deploys, maintains, analyzes, and troubleshoots Audio-Visual equipment and computer hardware, software and peripherals. Provides Level 1 support to PC, AV and Hotel Business Center equipment users. Solid working knowledge of video projectors, sound equipment, voice/video conferencing, copiers, fax machines and printers. Associate's degree in computer science plus a minimum 6 months experience or a combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills are acquired. General knowledge of personal computer hardware and software technology required. A+ Certification a plus. Experience with MS Windows operating systems and MS Office productivity suite and PowerPoint required. Microsoft Certifications a definite plus. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in written and spoken English required. Ability to lift up to 50lbs required. Familiarity with specific systems used by the company desirable. Senior Systems Administrator

The Senior Systems Administrator has primary responsible for the design, installation, configuration, optimization, maintenance and security of Killington’s server and data platforms, line-of-business software, and business intelligence delivery systems. Monitor and maintain health of all server, data storage, data backup and information-delivery systems. Install and maintain current software, firmware and driver versions. Design, build and modify custom data reports. Provide technical leadership in the design, planning, installation, upgrade and maintenance of all supported systems. 4-year degree in a technical field plus 3-4 years experience in systems administration, or a combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills would be acquired. Expert level knowledge of MSSQL and MS Reporting Services required. Working knowledge of Principles of Accounting for Financial Reporting. Able to setup and administer IIS and MS Sharepoint services. Experienced in the setup, administration and optimization of ESX/VSphere servers and EMC SANs. Experienced in the setup, administration and optimization of MS Cluster Services. Technical certifications at the journeyman level. Good organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in written and spoken English. Ability to interact effectively with a wide variety of company personnel, including senior management. Lodging

Bell Captain

To assist guest in checking in and out of lodging facilities and generally maintain appearance of hotel lobby and entryway. Oversee bell/valet staff: schedule weekly work assignments, assist in hiring and firing process, develop work procedures and inspection checklists. Supervise the valet parking process, guest arrival and departures, baggage storage, ski and bike check. Must have a basic education (high school) with one to two years previous related experience. Must have a valid driver’s license. 10-month/year position--Group I Benefits including medical, dental, vacation, 401(k) and great resort privileges included; position has an annual planned unpaid leave of absence for 2 months.

Front Desk Agent

At the Killington Grand Hotel. Duties include daily activities of the front desk and resolving guest problems. Must have excellent communication and organizational skills and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. Com­puter, customer service, and hotel reservations experience required. Full-time seasonal.

Front Desk Supervisor

To supervise the activities of the Front Desk staff during the shift. Must have a basic education (high school), with college level study in hotel management, business or other appropriate discipline desirable; plus two to four years of relevant professional hotel experience, or a combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills are acquired. Need to have a working knowledge and skills related to hotel front desk operations. Training or experience with computer information systems; experience with hotel information systems desirable. Supervisory experience desirable. 10-month/year position--Group I Benefits including medical, dental, vacation, 401(k) and great resort privileges included; position has an annual planned unpaid leave of absence for 2 months.

LODGING FINANCIAL MANAGER

To provide financial analysis and support to the Lodging department. Perform a wide range of financial tasks: track, analyze and allocate expenses; analyze financial results of the department and make recommendations; prepare monthly billings and account statements. Coordinate the budget process for lodging departments. Attend board and owner meetings as requested to present financial reports. Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance or business plus four to five years of relevant work experience or a combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills are acquired. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Ability to deal effectively with a variety of company personnel, owners and board members and outside firms/organizations. Familiarity with computerized accounting systems; experience using personal computers required. Ability to meet deadlines. Marketing

Communications Coordinator / Snow Reporter

Assist the Communications Manager in the coordination of all public relations, media communications and snow conditions activities at the resort level. Research, write and edit resort press releases. Assist the Communications Manager in maximizing resort media exposure. Assist Communications Manager with electronic PR, social media, including photos, video, resort stats and database management. Coordinate the daily research, writing and updating of daily snow reports. Bachelor's degree, plus 1-3 years relevant marketing, PR or journalism experience, or a combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills are acquired. Must have extensive skiing/snowboarding experience (advanced intermediate or above level skier or snowboarder) and knowledge of skiing/snowboarding terminology. Familiarity with ski industry and Killington required. Excellent communication (oral and written) skills. Dependable, reliable and able work early mornings. Full-time seasonal.

Mountain Operations

Mechanic's Helper

Assist mechanics in maintaining diverse fleet of vehicles. Perform other shop duties. Must have basic hand tools. High school diploma with auto or small engine training preferred. Ideal candidate will have three years experience in the field, but we are willing to train right person. Full-time seasonal.
