KILLINGTON, Vt. (January 23, 2011) – Killington Resort wraps up an action-packed weekend including superpipe and slopestyle competitions and music with DJ Cassidy at the Wobbly Barn. Killington Resort became the highest attended Winter Dew Tour for a new host resort with 29,000 people experiencing the event. Today concluded with a heart-pounding aerial battle in slopestyle finals for top Tour rankings and Dew Cup bragging rights.

Norway’s Torstein Horgmo and Jamie Anderson of South Lake Tahoe, Calif., each won their second consecutive snowboard slopestyle final, making them undefeated in the men and women’s disciplines respectively on the 2010-11 season. Bobby Brown of Breckenridge, Colo. was the last skier to drop in and blew the crowd away as he pulled out a win in the freeski slopestyle finals, earning the top position on the podium today. The win secures Brown as the leader in the overall Winter Dew Tour freeski slopestyle rankings heading into the Toyota Championship at Snowbasin Resort, the final stop of the 2010-11 Tour.

“We were thrilled to play host to the second stop of the Winter Dew Tour,” states Chris Nyberg, president and general manager of Killington Resort, “Visitation to the event has exceeded our expectations and we hope to have a long relationship with the Winter Dew Tour at Killington Resort,” said Nyberg.
