Killington Resort Information
Killington Resort is a four season destination that sits on 3,000 acres in the heart of the Green Mountains in Central Vermont. The Resort boasts more than 70 miles of diverse terrain spread across six peaks and offers an expansive lift network and snowmaking system. Furthermore, the numerous après, dining, shopping and lodging options have made Killington a world-class destination for East Coast skiers and riders for more than 50 years.
Killington provides skiers and riders of all ability levels a choice of wide-open groomed cruisers, narrow classic New England runs, moguls, steeps and trees, all serviced by 22 lifts including two express gondolas. The Resort offers multiple terrain features for snowboarders and freeskiers in six terrain parks including Burton’s The Stash, an all-natural inspired terrain park with more than 50 features as well as two pipes.
Killington will host a jam-packed schedule of bands, festivals and competitions, including the NOR’BEASTER, a ten day kickoff event to the spring season featuring a music festival, USSA Hole Shot Tour and a variety of rail jams including Rails 2 Riches. Plus, there’s plenty to do off the mountain as well, including a lift served Tubing Park, snowcat-drawn sleigh rides, snowmobile tours, dog sledding, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, spa treatments, shopping and more than 100 restaurants and bars in the region.
After the snow melts, Killington features an 18-hole championship golf course as well as 45 miles of hiking and mountain biking trails. Killington Resort continues to implement energy conservation measures and environmental management practices to reduce energy consumption and the effects of climate change.
