The dawn of winter is signaled by snow and stoke, not calendar dates.
Whether it’s just a passing flurry that spins off the windshield or a mega preseason storm that sends feet of powder to the ground and gets the media and social networks buzzing—it happens every year. But it’s still a pleasant surprise.
This time of the year anything can happen. Fall colors are hanging on but winter’s touch is evident up and down the mountains, and really hit home as we opened for two days of skiing and riding the weekend of October 13. With a little help from our friends, of course. Stay tuned to killington.com for upcoming dates of operation.
