Check out some of our favorite upcoming events, all going down before the snow flies. 


1. Killington Wine Festival, July 18-20

Wine, dine and sunshine – the season for sipping is upon us with this annual weekend of good taste. Whether poolside at the Grand Hotel or nestled below Killington Peak, it's a great time to find your new favorite bottle.

2. Cooler in the Mountains, July 26 – August 30

Hot Day at the Zoo takes the stage on July 26, kicking off a series of free afternoon shows every Saturday through the end of August. From the music of Jimmy Buffett to the Allman Brothers, expect acts of all genres and a one-of-a-kind mountain backdrop.

3. The Biggest Loser 5K Runwalk and Half Marathon, July 27

Whether it’s your first 5K or one of many half-marathons, the Biggest Loser comes to town to get every body out on the mountain. Where else will you get a lift ride in the middle of your race?

4. Kids’ Fun Run and Spartan Race, July 27 and September 20

There’s no reason to leave the kids behind! Bring the little runners out for a 1-mile Fun Run with the Biggest Loser crew, then catch the spirit of the Spartan with divisions for ages 4-9 and 10-13. Plus Kids’ Spartan proceeds go straight to the Kids Fit Foundation to keep kiddos everywhere moving.

5. Powdr Shot Biathlon, August 9-10

Put your marksmanship to test alongside mountain athleticism with this one-of-a-kind tour. Choose trail running or mountain biking in three distance categories each, or take the Double Shot Challenge and aim to win it all.

6. Tame the Night, August 16

Take the Killington Golf Course by night for one memorable scramble. For those who prefer driving by day, check out the complete tournament schedule and play for charity, championships and even chill brews

7. POC Eastern States Cup, September 6-7

Think championship races for the best of New England mountain biking as the POC series returns to Killington. Super D, Enduro, and cash prizes are all on the agenda.

8. Peak Foliage from the K-1 Gondola, September 19 – October 13

Take the K-1 Express Gondola to the height of Vermont’s signature foliage every day from 10:00 a.m. until close. Nature’s fireworks, fresh food at the Peak Lodge, and crisp fall weather await.

9. 2014 Reebok Spartan Race, September 20

From amateur athletes to Olympians, everyone’s getting in on the spear throwing, fire jumping and $250,000 purse. Come to watch or come to win.

10. Killington Brewfest, October 3-5

Over 100 brews. VIP Tastings. Beer brunch with the brewers. Does it get any better? Add a festival golf tournament, Vermont’s fall foliage and lodging deals and you’re looking at our favorite way to kick off October.
