4:52 pm 03/28/15--Sunday's forecast edges one step closer to true spring skiing and riding with sunny skies and high temperatures right around 32 degrees. We can't think of a better way to enjoy that warm sunshine than skiing or snowboarding here in Killington on the most open terrain in the East.
147 trails are still open for skiing and riding at Killington making this one of best seasons in years to enjoy spring at The Beast. On Sunday morning you'll find terrain for all abilities and tastes, from natural glades to 83 freshly groomed runs. We always groom the majority of our easier terrain plus a selection of expert favorites, and Sunday those favorites include Ovation, Outer Limits, and Double Dipper. Key lifts are scheduled from 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.
Beginning this Saturday, March 28, 2015, key lifts* will operate until 5:00 p.m. on Saturdays, weather permitting, so you can enjoy the late afternoon sunshine. As the season winds down and Superstar is the only lift operating, we will run Superstar Express until 5:00 p.m. on each day that it scheduled.
More than 100 jumps, jibs, boxes, and rails, plus a Superpipe and a Mininpipe, reside in our 5 unique parks. Get the lowdown.
Killington tickets and passes are always valid at Pico Mountain so be sure to check out our friendly sister just a few minutes west. Combined, the two resorts currently offer more than 80 miles of open terrain which is, by far, the most in the East. Get the details at picomountain.com.
