4:58 pm 03/06/15--Welcome to another glorious winter weekend at Killington. We are now 125 days into the longest season in the East and the snow conditions here are some of the deepest and softest we've seen in years. All 155 Killington trails are open for skiing and riding this weekend, making Killington home to the most open terrain in the East.
That fine packed powder isn't going anywhere anytime soon, with high temperatures this weekend expected to be in the mid-20s. We should see a mix of clouds and sun, with some flurries possible. Killington Groomers will work their magic overnight, leaving us with 89 freshly groomed trails on Saturday morning. Some of the Beast's most challenging steeps will be groomed, including Outer Limits, Ovation, and Downdraft. As always, we'll groom the majority of our easier terrain too, including most Ramshead and Snowshed trails. Key lifts will load from 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.
We've got 5 parks with more than 135 jumps, jibs, rails, and boxes plus a Minipipe and a Superpipe to keep you lapping all day Get the lowdown.
Killington tickets and passes are always valid at Pico Mountain so be sure to check out our friendly sister just a few minutes west. Combined, the two resorts currently offer more than 90 miles of open terrain which is, by far, the most in the East. Get the details at picomountain.com.
