4:45 pm 03/01/15--Here in Killington we firmly believe that snowy Mondays are the best sort of Mondays, and that's just the sort we expect to have. We could see 4 or 5 inches by first chair, and another inch through the day, enough to soften snow surfaces and fill in some tracks in the trees. Temperatures should rise into the mid-20s, making for a perfectly comfortable day to ski or ride the most open terrain in the East at Killington.
In the morning you can expect to find 72 of our trails freshly groomed, including most of the easier terrain in the Snowshed and Ramshead areas, as well as intermediate and expert trails like Cruise Control and East Fall. For soft, natural bumps, head for Escapade or Vagabond and if you like your moguls seeded, try the seeded bump zones on Vertigo, Mouse Trap, and Outer Limits. Key Lifts are scheduled from 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.
We've got 5 parks with more than 130 jumps, jibs, rails, and boxes plus a Minipipe and Superpipe to keep you lapping all day Get the lowdown.
Killington tickets and passes are always valid at Pico Mountain so be sure to check out our friendly sister just a few minutes west. Combined, the two resorts currently offer more than 90 miles of open terrain which is, by far, the most in the East. Get the details at picomountain.com.
