The Road From Loaded Turkey to Rails 2 Riches
Posted by ktp on October 7, 2013
The Loaded Turkey Rail Jam has become a tradition for Killington Parks. Each November it kicks off the competition season in good ol’ Thanksgiving style, with frozen turkeys and all the fixings for the riders on the podium.
Being the first competition, this rail jam means something a bit different to everyone. For the Killington Parks Crew, it’s a chance to build a fun and creative set-up that gets excitement going for the season. To competitors, it means dusting off gear, seeing old friends, or even showing off a trick they learned at summer camp. For a lucky few, the Loaded Turkey means even more: it’s the last chance to win entry into Rails 2 Riches.
Rails 2 Riches brings the biggest set-up and fiercest competition of the season to our parks. Skiers and riders from all over North America gather at Killington and lay it all on the line in hopes of winning a piece of the $25,000 cash purse. With live music, bonfires and a final under the lights, no one wants to miss out on the action - come and get it.
