United Way Days
Killington Resort and Pico Mountain have raised more than $30,000 for the United Way of Rutland County over the past seven years through our United Way Day promotions. The summer United Way Day promotion offers guests an opportunity to participate in K-1 Gondola-served hiking and mountain biking at Killington for a minimal donation to the United Way.
For opening winter weekends at Pico Mountain, we have donated the proceeds from hundreds of Pico Express Cards to guests who make a donation to the United Way. The United Way of Rutland County is one of 1,400 United Way organizations in the country dedicated to helping those in our community that need support through the work of our partner agencies. The UWRC is the largest non-governmental fundraiser for local services in our community.
Killington Resort is committed to supporting events and organizations whose activities benefit the residents of Vermont. Each season we donate generously to a diverse group of local charitable organizations.
