Tasting Sessions Details

October 4 & 5, 2013

Since 1995, craft beer lovers have been flocking to the Green Mountains of Vermont to sample the finest brews in New England during the pinnacle of fall foliage. The event features over 20 breweries pouring more than 80 craft beer styles, a vendor village and two live bands.

Mini-Golf Challenge

New this year, find the folks from the Killington Golf Course and Vermont Adaptive on the third floor of Snowshed Lodge for a chance to strut your putt and win sweet Killington prizes. All Mini-Golf Challenge proceeds will benefit Vermont Adaptive Ski and Sports.

Important Information

Participants must be at least 21 years of age and a valid ID with proof of age is required.  Brewfest staff may check your ID at any time during the festival. We reserve the right to deny alcohol to anyone and remove anyone from the property.

  • Beer samples will only be poured into 8 ounce, souvenir mason jar tasting glasses
  • Beers under 9% ABV: 
    • 4 ounce sample = 1 ticket
    • 8 ounce sample = 2 tickets
  • Beers over 9% ABV:
    • 4 ounce sample = 2 tickets
    • 8 ounce sample = 4 tickets

Long Trail Brewfest Golf Tournament & Paired Beer Dinner

October 4, 2013

To get the party rolling, we’re hosting a brew-inspired golf tournament at Killington Golf Course. Come test your sporting skill and enjoy exclusive sample brews on-course during your round. Better yet, this 9-hole scramble tournament comes complete with brew-friendly raffle prizes, dinner and goodie bags from sponsors. 

Shotgun start at 1:00 p.m. with dinner to follow. Brewers and guests are all encouraged to join us. Call the Pro Shop at (802) 422-6700 to sign-up; registration deadline is September 30, 2013.

As we all know, a strong brunch in the (late) morning can be just the ticket to recovery. Join the brewers for Hangover Brunch at the Killington Grand Hotel to enjoy a custom menu created by Killington’s Executive Chef, complete with fresh local ingredients and paired with Vermont beers.

Detox Brunch and Yoga

Before you head out of town, put a bow on the weekend with a Hangover Brunch and Detox Yoga session at the Killington Grand Hotel. Cleanse your body and satisfy your appetite with a special yoga session and custom brunch prepared by Killington’s Executive Chef. Brunch will be served from 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m., with your choice of three 30-minute yoga sessions, running on the hour from 10:00 a.m. - noon.

Transportation

Free Bus Service

Killington has rented busses for transportation at the end of each Tasting Session. Please note the bus route and plan accordingly.

Departs Snowshed Lodge and will head to Highridge Condominiums, down the Killington Road to the Foundry, and then back to Snowshed Lodge. Riders will be able to exit the bus at any location on this route by mentioning desired location to driver. This loop will take approximately 20 minutes.
 

Other Transportation Options

There will be other shuttles and taxi services available throughout the Tasting Sessions for your convenience, including Gramp's Shuttle, The Lookout Shuttle and the Barrel Rider.

Please designate a driver and drink responsibly.
