Hiking
Enjoy K-1 Express Gondola-serviced hiking on 15 miles of signed hiking trails. Explore the beauty and nature of Killington’s six peaks up close, including the 4,241-foot summit of Killington Peak. The K-1 Express Gondola is open daily starting June 29, 2012 (weather permitting) from 10:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. In addition, Killington is a frequent stop for long-distance hikers navigating their way along the well-known Appalachian or Long Trails, which run through Killington’s peaks.
Gondola tickets and hiking rental equipment are available for purchase in the Mountain Bike Shop in the K-1 Lodge.
Please note that construction to the Peak Lodge may disrupt operations at times, limiting or closing certain trails as well as the K-1 Express Gondola without notice.
