For three days only, the Ledgewood Yurt will feature a special three-course, family-friendly meal served with milk and soda.

About the Ledgewood Yurt Presidents Week Family Special
The Ledgewood Yurt dining experience features family-style seating in which you may be seated at a table with another family. Please specify the number in your party when making a reservation. Please be prepared to make your entrée selection when making your reservation. The chef requires a 24-hour notice regarding any changes to your entrée selection. Be sure to dress in winter casual attire with appropriate footwear for snow. All guests need to be 7 years of age and older. The sleigh departs from Cooper's Coffee at Snowshed Lodge at 6:00 p.m. A selection of wine, beer and liquor is available for purchase at the Ledgewood Yurt.

How do I book dinner?
We are currently acception reservations for the Presidents Week Special. Call 802-422-6998 to make your reservation. The Ledgewood Yurt offers family-style seating, so please specify the number in your party when making a reservation.
What is a Yurt?
A yurt is a "portable" structure much like those used by nomadic tribes in Mongolia over 2000 years ago. The domed, tent-like structure sits on top of a portable wooden frame to create an efficient shelter that is environmentally friendly. Despite their rustic appearance, today’s yurts are quite high tech.
Will there be a bar?
A wine, beer and liquor selection is available. Cash and major credit cards are accepted.
What is the time schedule?
| 5:50 p.m. | Arive at Cooper's Coffee at Snowshed Lodge to begin boarding the snowcat-drawn sleigh |
| 6:00 p.m. | Depart from Snowshed Lodge via snowcat-drawn sleigh |
| 6:20 p.m. | Arrive for dinner at the Ledgewood Yurt |
| 7:30 p.m, | Depart from the Ledgewood Yurt on the snowcat drawn sleigh |
| 7:50 p.m. | Arrive back at Cooper's Coffee at Snowshed Lodge |
Please be on time, the sleigh will leave Snowshed Lodge promptly at 6:00 p.m., no exceptions.
What is the dress code?
Winter casual with appropriate footwear for snow.
How long is the sleigh ride?
About 15-20 minutes one way, all guests will need to remain seated for the entire sleigh ride.
Do I need to have kids to go to the Yurt on these days?
While these days are not limited to only familys, the Ledgewood Yurt will be geared towards a family experience on the days the special is offered. If you are seeking the full Ledgewood Yurt experience, we recommend that you make reservations for the traditional Ledgewood Yurt experience on an alternate date.
*Price does not include tax and gratuity. All guests must be at least 7 years of age. Due to the preparation of food and the delicate nature of this experience, cancellations must be made at least 24-hours prior to your reservation to receive a refund. Cancellations made within 24-hours of your reservation will not be refunded.
**All information, dates and times are subject to change. Killington Resort reserves the right to cancel your reservation should any unforeseen circumstances arise including weather, mechanical or lack of reservations. While every effort will be made to give advance notice of cancellation, certain circumstances may allow for cancellations to be made by Killington Resort within 24-hours of your scheduled dinner time.
