Happy Hour at the Motor Room
Looking for an après-ski experience like no other? Find your enclosed-cabin snowcat waiting outside the Roaring Brook Umbrella Bar and climb aboard for a behind-the-scenes adventure. After a ride on the trails with no one but the groomers, you’ll arrive at the Motor Room Bar, located in the original drive terminal of Killington’s very first four-passenger lift.
With seating for just 10 people and much of the lift’s equipment still in place, enjoy a drink and a selection of light hors d’oeuvres as you take in views of Bear Mountain through floor-to-ceiling windows. As night falls, the snowcat will be waiting to usher you home under the stars. Ages 21 and over only, please. Be advised, guests must be able to climb two flights of steep stairs to enter the Motor Room Bar.
Lunch at the Motor Room
To celebrate spring snow and bluebird days, the Motor Room will offer lunch sessions starting in early March, 2013. Take some time off your feet in a quiet retreat at the top of Devil's Fiddle and recharge for afternoon turns.
2012-13 Rates
Price includes round-trip transportation to the Motor Room Bar via snowcat for après excursion; ski-in for lunch. Food and a maximum of two drinks also included.

FAQs
Can I purchase more than two drinks while at the Motor Room Bar? Or can I bring my own?
No, there is a two drink per person maximum for Happy Hour. You may buy additional drinks over lunch, however. Under no circumstance may private alcohol be brought to the Motor Room.
What if I have special dietary needs?
Due to the remote location of the Motor Room Bar, we are unable to accomodate special menu requests.
What should I wear?
Warm winter casual clothing with appropriate footwear for snow.
Are there any physical restrictions?
In order to visit the Motor Room Bar, you must be able to climb two flights of steep stairs.
Does the Motor Room Bar operate in all weather conditions?
Every effort will be made to operate the Motor Room Bar in all weather conditions; however Killington reserves the right to cancel due to weather or any other circumstances beyond our control. We will make every effort to give advance notice of a cancellation.
Are there other ways to reach the Motor Room Bar?
The only way to get to and from the Motor Room Bar is via an enclosed-cabin snowcat.
Is there a restroom on site?
Due its remote location, there is not a formal heated restroom at the Motor Room Bar. There is an unheated portable restroom available on-site.
What if I’m running late?
The snowcat leaves the Roaring Brook Umbrella Bars at 5:00 p.m., no exceptions.
Can I book the Motor Room Bar for private events?
Yes, the Motor Room Bar can be booked for private groups on any operating date by booking all 10 available tickets. Call 800-621-MTNS for more information.
