Burton Mountain Festival
Killington Resort is one of only three East Coast stops on the Burton Mountain Festival tour, an all-new experience that offers riders a full day of free product demos of Burton's 2012 lineup, sponsor giveaways, mini parks for the smallest snowboarders and amateur snowboard contests.

Burton Test Ride
The Burton Test Ride is the foundation of the Burton Mountain Festival. Burton will have the entire 2012 hardgoods line on hand and available to try at no charge. Riders will have the opportunity to try out a variety of boards, boots and bindings to get the feel of their ultimate set-up.
Burton Pro-Test
The Burton Mountain Festival stop at Killington Resort will feature a Pro-Test event held in The Stash. Pro-Test is an amateur snowboard competition for men and women featuring halfpipe and slopestyle contests with a total prize purse of $7,000. Riders can also win four wildcard spots to compete in the US Open prequalifiers and Pro-Test events are 4Star TTR World Snowboard Tour events.
Registration
Online pre-registration for Burton Pro-Test is now open and will close on Thursday, March 1, 2012 at 10:00 p.m.
Registration is on a first-come, first-serve basis and is $10 per event and open to competitors of any age. Due to the location of the event, competitors will be required to have a season pass / lift ticket in order to compete. However, discounted $35 lift tickets will be available for competitors.
Once all of the spots have been filled, riders will have the opportunity to sign up for the waitlist. All waitlisted riders must show up in-person at registration in the Fuel TV lounge at Bear Mountain Lodge between 7:30 and 8:30 a.m. on the day of competition to confirm their waitlist status.
Confirmed riders must also register on-site to pick-up their bibs and other registration materials. Failure to register on-site will result in your spot being forfeited. Any forfeited rider slots will be filled by a random drawing from the waitlist. On-site registration will be held during the following times:

All participants of Burton Pro-Test must fill out an Express Assumption of Risk form and a Burton Pro-Test Event Waiver. If you are under 18, you will need a parent / guardian to sign your form. Competitors under the age of 13 must have a parent / guardian register for them. These form will be available online in the near future.
Rules
- Each participant must wear a properly fastened snow sports helmet during all event practice/inspection and competition.
- Scope it out. Make a habit of course/venue inspection before every event.
- Know your limits (skill and ability levels) and stay within them. This isn’t the time to try something you’ve never done before.
Prizes
The Burton Pro-Test at Killington Resort will award a total prize purse of $7,000 with equal prize amounts for mens and womens divisions. The prize awards for each event are:

In addition to the cash prizes, the Burton Pro-Test is a qualifier to the US Open with first place finishers from each division receiving an automatic entry to the prequalifiers at the US Open, March 9-11, 2012 at Stratton Mountain, Vermont.

Burton Riglet Park
For the youngest riders, the Burton Mountain Festival will also feature a Burton Riglet Park where kids as young as three can try out snowboarding for FREE. Burton will provide snowboards, boots and bindings sized for the smallest of riders to borrow at no charge. Kids will also be able to try out Burton’s revolutionary Riglet Reel, a specially designed reel attached to the nose of youth snowboards that makes learning easier than ever. Certified snowboard instructors will be on hand to help kids learn to ride on mini-features like boxes, ramps and rails.
The Burton Riglet Park will only be open on Saturday, March 3. All participants that enter the Burton Riglet Park must fill out an Express Assumption of Risk form and a Burton Riglet Waiver. If you are under 18, you will need a parent / guardian to sign your form.
Burton After Party
Join us Saturday from 3:00-6:00 p.m. on the deck at Bear Mountain Lodge for the Burton After-Party. The party is open to all ages and will feature fun games, activities and tons of great prizes and giveaways from Burton.
