Bud Light Intergalactic Pond Skimming Championships
100 of the galaxy’s bravest and perhaps craziest skiers and riders will put their skills to the test as they attempt to cross the freezing-cold pond. Competitors will be judged on skim, costume, splash and crowd cheer. Whether you choose to skim or spectate, make sure not to miss this wacky event!
Bud Light Intergalactic Pond Skimming Championships Update
Due to the record breaking warmth earlier in March, the Bud Light Intergalactic Pond Skimming Championships have been postponed until the 2012-13 winter season. The decision came down to hosting the event at the base of Superstar and destroying the snow in the process or preserving the snow in order to stay open as long as possible. We chose the latter. We thank you in advance for your understanding.

Registration
Registration for Pond Skimming will open at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, April 1, 2012 at the Roaring Brook Umbrella Bars & Deck at K-1 Lodge. There will be no pre-registration for this event.
The entry fee is $10, payable by cash or check only. This event is open to both skiers and snowboarders and is limited to the first 100 participants who register the day of the event. Costumes are encouraged.
All participants of Pond Skimming must fill out an Express Assumption of Risk form which will be available to download shortly. If you are under 18, you will need a parent/guardian to sign your form.
