Farewell March and Hello April

Even though Mother Nature has been unpredictable all season long (temps reached the 80’s last week), Killington Resort was the first resort in the East to open daily for the 2011-12 season on October 29 - only eight weeks after tropical storm Irene. So far, that’s five months or 153 days of skiing and riding and we’re still going strong, Vermont Strong! The snow is piled up on Superstar, Skyelark and Bittersweet and we plan to make turns through April or as long as Mother Nature allows.

What’s that, you’re looking to add more on-snow days to your season and you enjoy skiing and riding in spring conditions? Well you’re in luck, natural bumps, sunshine and goggle tans are on tap this weekend along with two performances by Snoop Dogg, lift ticket deals, big savings at Killington Sports and upcoming events.

Be sure to check out the conditions report for the latest information regarding operating hours, trail, lift and weather information.

Operational Update
Skiers and riders will be making turns on primarily advanced terrain only. For this weekend, the Superstar Express Quad is scheduled to be open from 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. and the K-1 Lodge will be fully open, too. Plus the Roaring Brook Umbrella Bars, at the base of Superstar trail, are open daily from 11:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Lift tickets will be $49 for Adults (19-64), $42 for Young Adults/Seniors (13-18/65+) and $34 for Juniors.
