New Trails, Yes Please.
Posted December 13, 2012
It’s the most wonderful time of the year, especially at Killington Resort. Our incredible snowmakers have been piling up the snow on trails across four peaks. Which trails? Well, the list keeps growing, but here’s a snap shot: Cascade, Superstar, East Fall and Downdraft Headwall. Plus, the guns are firing on easier trails too, on Ramshead Mountain and Snowshed Slope.
We’ve been celebrating the winter season since November 5, so check out what’s on tap for this weekend, pack your car and head up to Killington for a much deserved getaway.
For this weekend, we’ll be offering skiing and riding for all ability levels on over 15 miles of open terrain off Killington Peak, Skye Peak, Snowdon Mountain, Ramshead Mountain and Snowshed Slope. Drum roll please, Cascade will debut, Superstar will be open top to bottom!
Can it possibly get any better? It sure can, the early season terrain park on Mouse Run will be rebuilt Thursday night! As for some “insider information” think Rails 2 Riches features and a few smaller features for the beginners. Yep, you should probably make a few laps to see for yourself.
The K-1 Express Gondola and North Ridge Triple will open at 8:00 a.m. for first tracks Saturday and Sunday, other key lifts will spin at 8:30 a.m. The K-1, Snowshed and Ramshead Lodges will be open. Starting Saturday, December 15, lift tickets will be $80 for adults (19-64), $68 for seniors (65+) and $62 for youth (7-18).
