Thanksgiving Weekend Outlook
Posted November 22, 2012
Turkey Day turns on four peaks! We have many things to be thankful for this year. We’re thankful for the hard work of our snowmakers, for being the first ski resort to open in the East (again), for having the most open terrain in New England, and for offering skiing and riding for all ability levels for this weekend including the learning area and green circle trails!
We’re pleased to offer top to bottom skiing and riding on sections of Killington Peak, Skye Peak and Snowdon Mountain for primarily advanced terrain and green circle trails off Ramshead Mountain as well as the Learn To Area at Snowshed. Starting Friday, expect to see as many as eight lifts running including the Snowdon Quad and Snowshed Learn To Carpet. Plus, the Reason Terrain Park will be open with nine features. Additionally, we’ll continue to make snow and expand terrain as long as the conditions permit. Check out the Thanksgiving Weekend Outlook video.
For Thanksgiving weekend, all scheduled lifts will spin from 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. and lift tickets will be $69 for adults (19-64), $59 for seniors (65+) and $53 for youth (7-18). Furthermore, K-1, Snowshed and Ramshead Lodges will be open as well as the Roaring Brook Umbrella Bar.
Be sure to check out the Conditions Report for the latest information regarding operating hours, trail, lift and weather information or check out photos to see what the conditions look like.
