Winter Dew Tour Semi-Finals Recap
Posted January 20, 2012
Mother Nature dealt us an interesting set of cards for today’s weather - she didn’t hold back, even for the Winter Dew Tour. What she didn’t know, is that these ladies and gents are the best of the best, and it’ll take more than wind and cold to stop ‘em. The crowd at Friday’s semi-finals was treated to some of the smoothest runs, most stylish grab and sickest amplitude the Superpipe’s seen yet. And it’s only gonna get bigger from here.
Torin Yater-Wallace, Gus Kenworthy and Tai Barrymore nabbed the top three spots in Men’s Ski Superpipe with Maddie Bowman, Vermont’s Devin Logan and Brita Sigourney going 1,2,3 for the ladies. The men’s snowboarders took to the superpipe in high style as well with Matt Ladley, Luke Mitrani and Roger Kleivdal qualifying in the top 3, and the whole FRENDS crew heading to finals.
These world-class athletes weren’t the only ones throwing down out there – East Coasters proved that the hometown fans are as fierce as they come and nothing will hold them back from watching their favorite athletes throw down at Killington Resort.
Check out the schedule and results of the second stop of the Winter Dew Tour.
