The Beast loves opening again this weekend

Once again, we can’t thank our snowmaking crew enough for the hard work and long hours they have put in so we can ski and ride this weekend at Killington. But there is no time to rest as we’ll take advantage of every opportunity to make snow and offer our guests great skiing and riding at Killington! In fact, as soon as the temps fall tonight, we’ll fire up the snow guns.
For Saturday, we’re expecting four open trails (Rime, Reason, Upper East Fall and a combination of Great Northern Upper/Middle/Middle Chute/Lower Bunny Buster trails) and two lifts – the K-1 Express Gondola and the Northridge Triple spinning from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Plus, the early season terrain park will be open on Reason.
For Sunday, we are planning to remain open; however, pending weather and snow conditions, some walking may be required on the lower portion of the mountain. And please be aware that early season conditions will exist. We will offer Blue Square (more difficult) trails only. No Green Circle (easier) terrain will be available.
Once again, for the best skiing and riding conditions, stay up top in the Northridge area on Rime, Reason and Upper East Fall Trails. The Great Northern Upper/Middle/Middle Chute/Lower Bunny Buster trail combination will take you back to the base of K-1, however, we suggest you enjoy the Northridge area and only venture back to the base when necessary.
Early-season lift tickets are $49 for adults (19-64), $44 for Young Adults (13-18) and Seniors (65-69) and $39 for Juniors (7-12) and Super Seniors (70+). Pick up a Killington Express Card for just $26 and save $10 off window rates this weekend and up to $20 off everyday of the 2009-10 season.
Don’t forget Saturday night the Wobbly will be showing Meathead Films Wild Stallions beginning at 7 p.m.

Looking to head up for the Thanksgiving weekend. I know the plan is to open whenever possible, but what is the weather looking like? We're coming from DC, so if it's looking warm, we may reschedule for later in the year. Thoughts?

Tom, I would accept a bit less than a "quality experience" to be able to ski on weekdays!!!

Remaining open is our goal. However, it all depends upon the weather and snow conditions. We're making snow at every opportunity and evaluating the conditions on a daily basis so we can offer our guests a quality experience.

Tom, Will Killington remain open for everyday operations through the season as of Saturday November 21?

Since you are not opening during the week, is there any possibility of honoring mid week passes this weekend?

Given the overnight rain, does it look like the mountain will be open on Saturday? I am part of a bus trip and would really like to have a heads up if the trip is on or not. Thanks.
