Needed at the Killington Grand Hotel to clean, sort & put away pots and other kitchen items, as well as prep for meals. Must be dependable, hard working and be flexible with scheduling. Full-time seasonal.
Needed at the Killington Grand Hotel. Prepare and produce a wide variety of menu items. Perform a variety of complex cooking tasks, meal service and proper plating of all meals. Individual must be experienced in ala a carte and buffet/banquet production skills. Two years of related experience, a sound knowledge of basic sanitation practices, a commitment to high quality culinary production standards and high quality guest service standards are required. Training in a culinary arts school, preferred. one Full-time seasonal and one part-time.
To assist guests in checking in and out of lodging facilities and generally maintain appearance of hotel lobby and entryway. Must have a basic education (high school) with some previous related experience helpful. Must have a valid driver’s license. Full-time seasonal.

To supervise and perform snow removal from access roads and parking lots during the winter season; to supervise and perform related summer construction work. Plan, supervise and coordinate all snow removal operations, including plowing, hauling with trucks, sanding and salting. Exercise full supervisory authority over 10 staff. Plan work schedules. Assign and check work, resolve problems, and the like. Supervise and carry out the proper operation and maintenance of equipment. Prepare various administrative/operational reports and records, such as timesheets and inventories. Ensure staff receives training as required by State/Federal Laws and Company policies. Duties require working in extreme outdoor weather conditions. Minimum requirement--valid CDL Class B with air brake endorsement; CDL Class A preferred. Participation in pre-employment and random drug and alcohol-testing program is required prior to operation of vehicles or operating equipment. Overtime work is required, particularly during the winter months. On-call time-- The Snow Removal Foreman can expect to be called in as needed during weather events that require the snow removal department to clear roads and parking lots. Due to the unpredictable nature of weather events, the Snow Removal Foreman will be on-call and will be required to stay within 40 minutes of the facility and be accessible by telephone or by pager throughout the winter season. High school diploma plus three years of relevant experience, or a combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills are acquired. Experience and skills in the operation and maintenance of a variety of heavy equipment used for snow removal and construction projects. Basic computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel desirable. To accomplish sales goals by directing and supervising Killington’s Leisure sales and service programs involving the promotion and sale of lodging, food and beverage and resource products and services. Develop and modify sales programs, services and systems in accordance with company objectives. Exercise full supervisory authority over leisure sales representatives. Plan training programs and staff meetings. Confer regularly with staff to plan and coordinate activities, assign and review work, and resolve problems. Develop and grow year round business. Bachelor’s degree in business or other appropriate discipline, plus three to five years of relevant sales, marketing or public relations experience, or a combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills are acquired. Broad base of basic knowledge and skills related to marketing and sales; previous resort experience desirable and management experience a must. Good planning, administrative, organizational, supervisory, and budget management skills. Good writing and speaking skills. Ability to represent the company and deal effectively with a wide variety of outside firms, organizations, individuals, as well as other company personnel, in carrying out sales functions.
