Life is good NOR'BEASTER Festival

Join us and our friends at Life is good for the kickoff weekend of NOR'BEASTER, a celebration of spring in the mountains, with an all-ages winter music and snow sports festival. 

The weekend will feature a festival atmosphere and free music resort-wide all day Saturday. Plus, 10% of all lift ticket sales will be donated to help kids in need.

Bear Mountain Base Area

The main line-up for the festival weekend will be playing on an outdoor stage at the base of Bear Mountain area. Whether your skiing and snowboarding for the day or just coming up to catch some live music in a unique mountain venue, Bear Mountain is the place to be.

Snowshed Base Area

Our line up at Snowshed will get your kids rocking and bopping, but is sure to entertain all ages at our outdoor stage conveniently located at the base of Snowshed and just through the tunnel of Ramshead Lodge.

Après Sessions*

Local musicians join in the festival throughout the resort at our favorite après-ski spots. No matter where you start or end your day, live music awaits.

After Party

The festival continues after the sun sets at the Wobbly Barn Nightclub. Tickets for this show are $15 and quantity is limited. Must be 21 and older.

The Life Is Good Scavenger Hunt is a resort-wide adventure hunt. Ski/ride around the resort to find strategically placed Life Is Good Logos, about the size of a piece of paper. Return these logos to the Information Tent at Snowshed to win prizes! 

Registration for this event will be located at the Life Is Good Information Tent outside of Snowshed Lodge.

Logos will be hidden on Green Circle trails only. All participants must fill out an Express Assumption of Risk Form. If you are under 18, you will need a parent/guardian to sign your form.

We're offering a limited quantity of specially priced lift tickets for the festival weekend. Or choose a NOR'BEASTER Spring Season for unlimited skiing and riding starting March 15, 2014 through the end of the season at a special price for festival goers - plus 10% of all proceeds from lift ticket sales help kids in need.

Festival Tips

  • Skiing or riding to and from the shows at the various base areas is the best way to avoid traffic congestion.
  • No coolers, alcohol, animals, chairs or tents allowed inside the concert or on-snow areas.
  • An 1,800 sq ft beer garden will be set up at Bear Mountain base area in prime viewing of the stage.
  • At Snowshed, there is an indoor pub with views of the main stage.
