Group Policies

All mountain product rates provided for the 2012-13 season are valid pending compliance with the policies and procedures below.

Lift Tickets

Rates are based on a minimum group of 20 people who all start to ski/ride on the same day. 2-day lift tickets are only valid for consecutive days but lift tickets of three or more days have a built in grace day, 3 out of 4 days, 4 out of 5 days, etc. Rates include Vermont state sales tax where applicable.

GROUP LIFT TICKETS

Please submit all group lift ticket orders to the Group Sales Office no later than 48-hours prior to the start to ski date. Groups submitting ticket orders after 48-hours prior to arrival will forfeit any earned lift ticket comps. (Example: a ticket order must be received by 8:00 a.m. on Thursday for tickets starting on Saturday morning.) Group pricing will not be offered to groups ordering same day lift tickets. One complimentary lift ticket will be issued for each 20 paid tickets purchased in the same transaction (i.e. 21st, 42nd, etc) if ticket order is received 48-hours prior to start to ski date. If the group size falls below 20, no complimentary tickets will be issued; but group rates will be honored (minimum 17 people).

PAYMENT POLICIES

The group leader must collect funds in advance from the group members and handle the ticket purchase for the group in one transaction. Payments may be made using cash, certified check, money order or a credit card (American Express, MasterCard, Visa, or Discover). We cannot accept multiple credit cards from individuals when extending group rates. No second party checks, purchase orders or personal checks will be accepted.

HIGH SCHOOL / YOUTH GROUP BONUS

Realizing that high school, middle school and youth groups (80% of group members 18 or younger) need proper supervision; Killington will provide one complimentary ticket after each 10 paid tickets purchased in the same transaction (i.e., 11th, 22nd, etc). The comps will be adult tickets for chaperones.

KIDS SKI FREE

Kids 12 years of age and younger ski free when an adult purchases a 5-day lift ticket provided none of the days fall in a peak period. This offer is not valid December 24-31, 2012 and February 16-24, 2013. Limit one free kid per paying adult. Kid’s equipment rentals are NOT free. Kids six and under always ski FREE when accompanied by an adult.

Equipment Rental

The Rental Shop in Snowshed Lodge is open from 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m. weekends and peak days and 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday non-peak. A $2 per day equipment damage waiver (50% discount) will be automatically added to each equipment rental included in the group ticket order. A security deposit using a major credit card will need to be provided for each individual renting equipment. The credit card imprint will be taken in the Rental Shop when equipment is issued.
