Congratulations on your upcoming wedding! Surrounded by nature's bounty, the Killington Grand Resort Hotel, located in central Vermont is a fantastic setting for your special day. The following information summarizes the most frequently asked questions about planning a wedding at Killington.
Reception Times
All functions are available for five hours. Start and end times are flexible and extended reception hours are available upon request. Time scheduled over five hours will be charged a rate of $200.00 per additional hour. Access to function rooms prior to the stated times for decorating, (decorating time is not subject to a surcharge) is based on availability.

Ceremony Locations
Killington offers two ceremony sites that blend perfectly with our mountain and garden landscape. We are happy to make all the rental arrangements from tent to chairs and to prepare and set up the site. We will schedule an indoor site in case of inclement weather.
Snowshed Pond Waterfront, 25-250 guests
Nestled along the shoreline of Snowshed Pond with unobstructed views of Killington, this picturesque site is also close enough to the hotel ballroom entrance to be convenient for your outdoor and indoor function. Set up fee is $300.
Killington Peak, 25-175 guests
At 4,241' with spectacular views of the Green Mountains, no one will forget your ceremony. The eight passenger K-1 Gondola comfortably transports you and your wedding attendees to the top of Killington to view Vermont in all its majesty.
Gondola Lift Ticket: $10 per person
The Killington Golf Course, 25-400 guests
Located next to the Killington Grand Resort Hotel featuring hill-top meadows that overlook our 18-hole golf course with manicured grounds and panoramic views of the Green Mountains, it is no wonder this is one our most favored site.
Reception Locations
The Oscar Wilde Grand Ballroom, 75-400 guests
The Oscar Wilde Grand Ballroom is our largest indoor reception location. This high-ceiling room, framed by windows with a view to our unique setting at Killington adds an extra touch of elegance for your wedding celebration.
The Cocktail Reception
Cocktail receptions can be held in the adjacent outdoor patio or indoors by our fieldstone fireplace. As every wedding is custom tailored, we are happy to discuss any ideas you may have. Traditionally, cocktail receptions are scheduled for one to one and a half hours.
The Terrace Patio, 10-60 guests
This quaint brick patio area surrounded by colorful flowers is the hidden gem at the Killington Grand Resort Hotel. Available for daytime and evening functions held until 10:00 p.m.
The Poolside Patio, 50-300 guests
Adjacent to the Ballroom this location offers exceptional views and unsurpassed convenience. Many wedding parties choose to have a cocktail hour at our poolside patio followed by a reception in the Oscar Wilde Grand Ballroom. Patio functions must end by 10:00 p.m.
The Peak Restaurant, 80-175 guests
A little piece of heaven right here in Vermont where the sky is the limit. At 4,241' The Killington Peak is the highest dining facility in the state. Magnificent views in every direction will leave your guests breathless. Available days and evenings until 11:00 p.m.
Site Fee
Wedding events are subject to a $2,000 Facility Fee plus the prevailing State of Vermont Rooms & Meals Tax. This site fee includes a function room for the rehearsal dinner, wedding ceremony, dinner reception and grand finale brunch.
Deposits & Payments
A $1,000 non-refundable deposit is due with your signed contract to reserve the date of your wedding. An estimated payment of your food and beverage charges is required fourteen (14) days prior to your event, along with your guaranteed count.
Any outstanding charges will be due at the end of your reception. We accept American Express, Visa, Mastercard & Cashier Checks.
Food Policies
Menu selections are required forty-five (45) days prior to your reception. To ensure proper staffing levels and for ordering the appropriate amount of food and wine, your final guest count guarantees are required fourteen (14) business days prior to the function. Service will not be provided for additional attendees without your written authorization.
Our catering license prohibits food or beverage products from an outside source to be brought into or taken out of the Killington Grand Resort Hotel function rooms. The only exception is a wedding cake prepared off-property by a licensed baker and non-alcoholic party favors.
Beverage Policies
There is a $75 private function bartender's fee for each bartender scheduled to work your event. Scheduling is based on one bartender for 80 guests.
The Killington Grand Resort Hotel reserves the right to limit or suspend service during any function where, in our opinion, where we believe our liquor license or the comfort and safety of our guests may be in jeopardy.
Alcohol service will cease one half-hour prior to the end of the function. Only non-alcoholic beverages will be available at that time.
