Burton Learn To Ride, Ages 7-18
Learning to snowboard at Killington is easy, fun and affordable. This program is available for first-time snowboarders and includes lesson, rental equipment and a limited Learning Area lift ticket. Plus, at Killington, our Burton Learn To Ride is a MAX 5 program, guaranteeing a maximum of five students per instructor for every class!
Burton's Learn to Ride program incorporates successful teaching methods and Burton equipment created specifically for beginners. Our equipment is tailored by gender and age to maximize each individual's learning potential, including Burton LTR Snowboard, Progression Low Stack Bindings and Progression Boots. Our instructors will focus on your strengths and use them as building blocks.
Burton Learn To Ride Program Details
- For ages 7-18
- Lessons meet daily at Ramshead Lodge at 9:30 a.m. and 12:45 p.m.
- Killington Resort requires all Snow Sports School participants ages 17 and under to wear a snow sports helmet while in a lesson. Helmets are included at no charge as part of our equipment rental package for lesson participants in this age group.

All participants of the Kid's Burton Learn To Ride Program must fill out an Express Assumption of Risk form, save time and fill yours out now. If you are under 18, you will need a parent /guardian to sign your form.

Upon completion of three days** or more in the Learn To program, you’ll receive a Learner’s Permit Card that will give you 50% off on lift tickets, lessons, and rentals midweek and 25% off on lift tickets, lessons and rentals on weekends and peak* periods for the remainder of the 2011-12 season.
