A favorite for those driving up early in the morning, and those staying on Route 100 south or in towns like Bridgewater and Woodstock. Skyeship, an 8-passenger gondola, whisks you from Route 4 to the top of Skye Peak in 11 minutes. From there, you can access almost any spot on the mountain. The Skyeship Gondola will operate daily for the 2008-09 season, however, limited services are available at the Skyeship Lodge during mid-week periods.

TERRAIN OPTIONS
BLACK DIAMOND
A Black Diamond skier or rider can go in any direction from the top of the Skyeship Express Gondola. Skiing or riding down Skye Peak on well-known and loved trails like Superstar and Bittersweet will bring you to the K-1 Lodge where you can take the K-1 Gondola to gain access to the Black Diamond terrain of the Canyon area.

BLUE SQUARE
Consider Blue Square trails from the top of the Skyeship Gondola including Skyelark to High Road to Bittersweet, or Skyeway to either Cruise Control or Needle’s Eye.

GREEN CIRCLE
Take Skyewalker on skier’s left to Great Eastern all the way back down to the Skyeship Base, or utilize it to access Snowshed Crossover and ski or ride down to the Snowshed and Ramshead areas.
