Kids Programs
Over the past half century, more skiers have learned at Killington than any other resort in the country. And for the 07-08 season, Killington Resort will once again provide skiers and snowboarders, especially children, innovative and industry-leading opportunities to develop their skills to enjoy lifelong snowsports participation.
12 weeks to 6 years
The Friendly Penguin Day Care is a state licensed facility providing indoor and optional outdoor activities at The Ramshead Family Center.
Ages 2 - 3
The First Tracks Program combines the Friendly Penguin daycare with outdoor on-snow sessions designed to introduce children to skiing or other outdoor activities. MAX 3 - We guarantee 1 instructor for every 3 children during the on-snow ski lesson.
Ages 4 - 6
Ministars is an innovative program that teaches your children to enjoy the sports of skiing and snowboarding in a safe, fun and educational environment. MAX 5 - We guarantee 1 instructor for every 5 children during the on-snow ski lesson.
Ages 6 - 12
Superstars provides skiing or snowboarding lessons for all ability levels. MAX 5 - We guarantee 1 instructor for every 5 children during the on-snow ski lesson.
ages 13 - 18
This unique program offers lessons for young adults ages 13-18 on skiing and snowboarding in either half day or full day programs. Designed especially for teens of all levels. MAX 5 - We guarantee 1 instructor for every 5 children during the on-snow ski lesson.
ages 7 - 18
Camp Freeride provides upper level skiers and riders lesson time with our best freeride pros in terrain parks. Must be an intermediate or above skier or rider. MAX 5 - We guarantee 1 instructor for every 5 children during the on-snow ski lesson.
ages 6 - 12
The seasonal program is designed for regular weekend visitors who are at an intermediate or above ability level.
