Kids Daily Programs

Over the past half century, more skiers have learned at Killington than any other resort in the country. And for the 08-09 season, Killington Resort will once again provide skiers and snowboarders, innovative and industry-leading opportunities to develop their skills to enjoy lifelong snowsports participation.

From our innovative Max 3 and Max 5 programs, to our seasonal programs, Killington Resort offers your kids the opportunity to learn and build a foundation for a lifetime of snowsports enjoyment.

Allour kids programs take place at the Ramshead Family Center, which caters to all your family needs with a retail shop specializing in childrens wear, rentals for all ages, tickets sales, cafeteria and child care. Our base area learning center features an extensive trail network  of novice and intermediate terrain that lets beginners get their start, while more advanced skiers and riders can cut it up. All these thrills are serviced by 3 Magic Carpets, two handle-tows and the 4 chairlifts which provide quick  access to the rest of the mountain. In short, kids have a place all to there own at the Ramshead Family Center.

12 weeks to 6 years

The Friendly Penguin Day Care is a state licensed facility providing indoor and optional outdoor activities at The Ramshead Family Center.

Ages 2 - 3

The First Tracks Program combines the Friendly Penguin daycare with outdoor on-snow sessions designed to introduce children to skiing or other outdoor activities. MAX 3 - We guarantee 1 instructor for every 3 children during the on-snow ski lesson.

Ages 4 - 6

Ministars is an innovative program that teaches your children to enjoy the sport of skiing, while Low Rider teaches snowboarding in a safe, fun and educational environment. MAX 5 - We guarantee 1 instructor for every 5 children during the on-snow ski lesson.

Ages 7 - 12

Superstars provides skiing or snowboarding lessons for all ability levels. MAX 5 - We guarantee 1 instructor for every 5 children during the on-snow ski lesson.

ages 13 - 18

This unique program offers lessons for young adults ages 13-18 on skiing and snowboarding in either half day or full day programs.  Designed especially for teens of all levels. MAX 5 - We guarantee 1 instructor for every 5 children during the on-snow ski lesson.

Camp Freeride
