Winter Season Pass Deadline is Here!
Fall is officially here, which can only mean a couple things at The Beast: Peak foliage is on the way (sorry, we don’t know the exact peak date!) and our best deals on a winter season pass are almost gone. Whether you're looking to put up 100 days on your Winter Unlimited Pass or become a true weekday warrior with a Midweek Pass, the best available price on each is only around through Thursday, September 24—that's until 11:59 p.m. tonight! Passholder perks include resort-wide discounts on food & beverage, retail, demos, tuning, and more. As we continue to invest heavily into our snowmaking, lifts, and dining locations across the resort, there's no better time to make The Beast your home mountain this winter.
Killington Brewfest's 30th Anniversary
As the leaves come and go each year, one autumn tradition has stood the test of time. Killington Brewfest returns for its 30th anniversary this Saturday, September 26, promising an afternoon of fall fun for craft beer enthusiasts and energetic kiddos alike. Along with ten samples of our region's finest beers, ciders, and seltzers, each General Admission ticket gets you access to plenty more: family-friendly activities, local vendors, and an afternoon full of live music presented by Kona Big Wave, starting with local legends NordPeak3 and headlined by the psychedelic grooves of Terrafunk. VIP entry gets you even more, including an extra hour for sampling, but just a few VIP tickets remain! Plus, all children ages 15 and under get in for free, making it an ideal afternoon for the family whether you're looking to sip, shop, or just enjoy the scenic backdrop of Pico Mountain. Grab your Brewfest tickets while you still can and we'll see you on Saturday!
Snowdon Quad Construction Update
If you were out and about at The Beast this past Tuesday, you likely noticed something sticking out amidst the usual mountain scenery. Our final helicopter fly day of the season took place this week, as crews from Dopplemayr plus our Mountain Ops team helped install the final lift towers along the route of our newest chairlift, the Snowdon Quad. This summer's most noteworthy construction project continues to go to plan, with the new lift still expected to open during this upcoming winter. Pepsi Mountain Clean-Up
Coming up soon is our annual Pepsi Mountain Clean-Up on Saturday, October 3, your chance to enjoy nature while cleaning up the mountains we call home. All you need to do is sign up for free, and our friends from Pepsi and Casella will help take care of the rest. We'll provide all the gear you need for a productive trash-picking morning, all capped off by a free lunch, live music, and a great raffle featuring prizes from our resort partners. Whether you're looking to hike down from Killington Peak or simply clean up around our base areas, we appreciate everyone who is able to come out and keep the Green Mountains free of litter.
Spartan Race 2026 Recap
Lastly, our busy fall events schedule kicked off this past weekend with the return of Spartan Race, as close to five thousand Spartans trekked up, down, and all around The Beast. Now approaching our 15th anniversary of hosting this event, our latest Insider Blog covers what makes this event special each year, both for participants and spectators alike. A big thank you to all our staff as well as the local businesses that help make this Spartan Race a can't-miss trip for so many each year.

Fall Sales at Killington Sports
Temps are dropping, and so are our prices on sale items at Killington Sports! Starting on Friday, September 25, mountain bike gear at Snowshed will be 40-50% off, while the outdoor racks at our Route 4 location will feature 50% off select winter gear. Also, at our Route 4 location you can receive a free coloring book with the purchase of a new, non-clearance winter kids' jacket or pants.
Harvest Faire
Mark your calendars for our annual fall festival for all ages: Harvest Faire returns on Saturday, October 10! Kids can enjoy pumpkin painting, hayrides, a bounce house, and more throughout the day, while kids at heart can indulge in axe throwing (18+), stein hoisting (21+), and live music from The Loonz.
