More snowmaking & Stifel Killington Cup excitement, featuring Mikaela Shiffrin live
We're getting close, Beast fans...
Election Day may have come and gone, but here at The Beast, we're always focused on building our base. After another snowmaking run on both North Ridge this past weekend, we're still moving closer and closer to Opening Day. Learn more about our early-season snowmaking strategy and how we’re making the most of every cold window to build a strong foundation for winter in our Mountain Report. Day One will be here soon enough!
Stifel Killington Cup Activities
We're now just over three weeks away from the return of the Stifel Killington Cup presented by Dunkin'. Tickets still start at just $10 for Saturday's and Sunday's action, which gets you viewing access for elite giant slalom and slalom racing plus some standout live concerts. Even before the first racer enters the start gate, don't forget about all the free activities on Friday, November 27, including the athlete bib presentation, a fireworks show, and a live performance from Congress The Band. Just announced, we'll also be hosting a live edition of What's the Point, Mikaela Shiffrin's podcast, to help kick off Friday evening's festivities at 4:45 p.m. Followed by a U.S. Ski Team press conference featuring Paula Moltzan, Katie Hensien, Nina O’Brien, AJ Hurt, Elizabeth Bocock and more. Be there for a closeup view of the same athletes who will be racing down Superstar later in the weekend!
HERoic Panel & Movie Screening
After the racing and concerts conclude on Saturday of Killington Cup weekend, you won't need to go too far to find your next activity on the mountain. Tickets are now available for the HERoic Panel presented by United Airlines, hosted at our Snowshed Lodge on Saturday, November 28 at 6:00 p.m. Hear from influential leaders from all around the winter sports industry on a panel moderated by Sophie Goldschmidt, president and CEO of U.S. Ski & Snowboard, then stick around for an exclusive screening of Winter Elements, a film about the women of the ski industry and the essential role they play in its overall success. All event proceeds will benefit Protect Our Winters, and tickets are just $10!
