Deadline for K-Ticket Vouchers & K-Days Passes
Happy Indigenous Peoples' weekend!
The leaves are falling and the slopes are calling. After some snowmaking tests this past week during near-freezing temperatures, our team is ready for whenever a real stretch of cold comes in the forecast. Though we don't have a scheduled Opening Day (yet), you can stay ready for whenever the cold comes with K-Ticket Vouchers and K-Days Passes. Both offer our lowest daily lift access rate, plus flexibility for whatever your schedule brings this winter and no blackout dates. K-Ticket Vouchers and K-Days Passes are each on sale for a flat rate, no matter your age, but don't wait: Prices are only at their best through Thursday, October 15! Learn more about the difference between each and get yours while you can, as K-Days Passes are only for sale this season through that same deadline of Thursday, October 15.
Weekend Operations Update
Last call for autumn activities! This Indigenous Peoples' weekend brings our last days of full fall operations, so get up here to catch the last of the foliage before it's gone! The best way to see it all is on a scenic gondola ride, which continue daily only through Monday, October 12. The Peak Lodge is also open daily just through this Monday, after which it'll be closed until the start of winter. We also have just a few more days left of family-friendly thrills in our Adventure Center, open for one final long weekend on Saturday, October 10 through Monday, October 12. Down on the links, our Golf Course and Clubhouse Grill also wrap up operations this weekend. After closing for Killington Mountain School’s annual tournament this Friday, October 9, our last days of tee times and Clubhouse lunches will be from Saturday, October 10 through Monday, October 12. Lastly, our Raw Bar at Preston’s will serve up one more evening of fresh seafood selections and exclusive beverage pairings on Saturday, October 10 from 5:00 p.m. until sunset.
Bike Park Update
Rolling through this weekend and beyond is our Bike Park, which will offer daily laps from the K-1 Gondola, Snowshed Express, and Ramshead Express through this Monday, October 12. Get in your bike laps off the peak while you can, as phase two of our $1.3 million investment towards lift maintenance will keep the K-1 Gondola closed for a majority of summer 2027. Following this Monday, we'll have one weekend of Snowshed and Ramshead laps on October 16-18, then one final Bike Park weekend on Snowshed from October 23-25. Even as they continue to prep for the winter, our Trail Crew is still out in force maintaining trails across the mountain. After recently revamping Lower Sideshow Bob and Step It Up, the team has been performing maintenance on Lower Roller, Yo Vinny, and Side Quest in recent days while continuing to keep our Ramshead trails free of falling foliage.
Harvest Faire
If biking, hiking, golfing, and more aren't enough for you, we'll also have plenty of free activities for all ages during Harvest Faire this Saturday, October 10. All day, the whole family can enjoy pumpkin painting, DIY crafts, a bounce house, and scenic hayrides. Stop by our vendor village during the day to say hi to our friends from Subaru of New England, who will be giving away Subaru pet goodies, accepting donations to local shelters, and collecting entries for a chance to win a special pet prize package! We'll also have stations for axe throwing (18+) and face painting, plus our live music lineup presented by Kona Big Wave that includes performances from Liz Reedy and from The Loonz. Finally, our crowd-favorite stein hoisting competition will return at 3:00 p.m., with participant sign-ups (21+) starting at 10:00 a.m. near the vendor village. Check out the full schedule online and head to Snowshed this Saturday to catch our classic fall festival.
Resort & Community Update
Also on the events front, we'll be hosting our annual Resort & Community Update on Thursday, October 15 from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. in the K-1 Lodge. Hear from our President & CEO Mike Solimano on all that's new and what's to come at both Killington and Pico, then stick around for live music, light hors d’oeuvres, and friendly conversation with members of our community. Please RSVP online if you plan on joining us next Thursday. For those of you who can't make it in person but want to stay on top of things, you're already in the right place, as we'll have some updates to share with you in next week's Drift.
See you on the trails!
