All of our tickets, lessons, and rentals are best booked online before your visit. Booking ahead allows you to have the best availability with lessons. With our dynamic-pricing system, the earlier you book tickets and rentals, the more you save.

Visting in the Winter

Adult group lessons, Adult Learn to Ski & Ride, and all private lessons meet at the Snowshed Base Area. Youth group lessons, Youth Learn to Ski & Ride, and Ministars meet at the Ramshead Base Area.

Before your visit, review our Base Areas, Parking & Transportation page for parking information, lodge services, rental locations, and base area addresses. Arriving at least 30 minutes before your lesson is recommended if you need to pick up lift tickets or rental equipment.

Ski and snowboard rentals can be picked up at the Snowshed Lodge and K-1 Lodge Rental Shops. Guests participating in youth ski or snowboard lessons should pick up their rental equipment at the Ramshead Lodge Rental Shop, which serves youth lesson participants. To ensure you have plenty of time for fitting and check-in, we recommend arriving at least 30 minutes before your lesson or scheduled start time. Make sure to check our Mountain Report for current operation hours of these lodges.

As your skills progress, you'll gain access to the largest ski resort in Eastern North America, with terrain ranging from gentle beginner slopes to expert steeps and glades. Ramshead is the perfect next step, offering a variety of blue trails that let you build confidence and expand your comfort zone at your own pace. Use our Winter Trail Map to explore trail difficulty ratings and plan your route to every area of the mountain.

Wear waterproof outer layers, moisture-wicking base layers, insulated gloves or mittens, ski goggles, and warm ski socks. Mountain weather can change quickly throughout the day, so dressing in layers is the best way to stay warm and comfortable. Don't worry if you forget something or aren't sure what you need—we have a retail shop in Snowshed and K-1 Lodges. And be sure to drink plenty of water and get a good night’s sleep.

You don't have to ski or snowboard to enjoy a winter getaway at Killington. Spend an afternoon racing down the groomed lanes at the Killington Tubing Park, featuring lift-serviced tubing fun for the whole family. Looking for even more ways to explore the area? To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests, only the following equipment is permitted on resort premises. All equipment must have metal edges and bindings. Use of unauthorized items, such as sleds, snow skates, toboggans, tubes, trays, saucers, snow bikes/trikes, and similar items, is strictly prohibited.

Visting in the Summer

If you're new to downhill mountain biking, the Experience Downhill Package is the best way to get started. This beginner-friendly package includes a professionally coached lesson, a downhill mountain bike rental, protective equipment, and a lift ticket, giving you everything you need for a safe and enjoyable first day on the trails. Our experienced instructors will teach you the fundamentals, build your confidence, and help you progress at your own pace.

Book a Lesson

Whether you're riding the Bike Park, spending the day at the Adventure Center, or playing a round of golf, wearing the right clothing will help you stay comfortable and safe. Summer weather in the Green Mountains can change throughout the day, so lightweight, moisture-wicking layers, sunscreen, and sunglasses are recommended for all outdoor activities.

Bike Park: Helmets are required for all riders, and full-face helmets are strongly recommended. Full-face helmets are available to rent. Closed-toe and closed-heel shoes are required. Sandals, flip-flops, and similar footwear are not permitted. We also recommend gloves, eye protection, and knee and elbow pads for added comfort and protection while riding.

Adventure Center: Wear comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing and closed-toe shoes for the best experience. Some attractions have specific height, weight, footwear, and safety requirements. Please review the Adventure Center Rider Requirements before your visit to ensure you're prepared.

Golf: Comfortable golf attire and golf-appropriate footwear are recommended for your round. Since mountain weather can change quickly, dressing in layers is encouraged. Before your visit, review our Golf Course Policies for course guidelines and expectations.

All bikes are required to have front and rear hand brakes. Disc brakes are strongly recommended.
All bikes must have front suspension at minimum. No rigid frames are permitted. Full suspension bikes are recommended and available for rent.
Bikes must have a tire diameter of 3" or less. Bikes with larger tires will not fit in our racks securely.
Only one rider per bike is permitted on lifts and trails.
Tandem bikes and front and rear mounted child seats are not permitted.
